Musical artist Ju-Lyon has a frequency that brings people together. His look is by designer DK Design Fashion who brings the colors of the universe to life through wearable art. Ju-Lyon was born Julyan Francis Shannon Grant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to 1st generation Jamaican Parents. He took the stage at the age of 4 by singing, dancing, acting and playing piano. By the age of 9 he and his family moved to the US Virgin Islands to get back to their Caribbean roots. Moving to the Caribbean was life changing for Ju-Lyon as it brought him into reggae music. This is where he started making ringtones and beats. At the age of 12 he found himself back in the suburbs of Philadelphia where he began rapping and released his 1st album on iTunes “Journey into the Mind”. Ju-Lyon found his Purpose in the transition from Turquoise water to the city of “Brotherly Love” and chose to make his life’s Mission Music. Ju-Lyon went on to release 7 mix tapes and a cover that went viral all before the age of 18 on Youtube. At the age of 19 Ju-Lyon began attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, started his own production company and dropped his 2nd album “Longevity under artist name J-enigma. At the age of 20, Ju-lyon found his dance hall vibe & sound when he signed with Nova Talent Int’l and Music Manager Tami Knapp Smith. Tami Knapp Smith has been mentoring Ju-lyon over the past few years helping him discover his true identity and purpose within the Arts. He participated in her artist development program that helped him evolve from a creative artist to a professional entertainer.
